These are stressful and challenging times for everyone. In challenging times it’s especially important for us to come together as a community to support and encourage each other.
Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin recently made the difficult decision urging all city residents and business owners to stay home. We support this directive and it is our responsibility as a clinic to make educated and proactive decisions with the information at hand. Although outpatient physical therapy is one of the essential healthcare services permitted to remain open and we have taken the necessary steps to minimize the risk of transmitting COVID-19, it has become apparent that asymptomatic carriers could still be present.
Due to the fact that Snohomish County has the second highest confirmed COVID-19 tests in the state, we have decided to voluntarily and temporarily close the clinic until April 6th. We believe this closure will allow more information to be gathered and decrease transmission so that we can make more informed decisions going forward. We stand committed to our community and patients, keeping their safety our number one priority.
In the time being, we are establishing our telehealth system that we will utilize for current patients. Through our telehealth system we will be able to utilize the internet and HIPAA compliant video software to address your physical therapy needs. All you need is a computer or smartphone.
Thank you to our amazing patients for your understanding and keep working hard on your home exercise programs! We will be checking our voicemail daily to schedule/reschedule current and new patients. Until then, be safe, and we’ll see you in April!
